Inter-city bus service coming to Stratford this month

An inter-city bus service is adding Stratford to its routes.

FlixBus, which operates on five continents, has announced it will connect Stratford with Toronto, Hamilton, Guelph, and Kitchener.

Karina Frayter, head of communications for Flix North America, said by adding Stratford into a growing network, the company are improving year-round, car-free access to a major cultural and education hub, while creating more convenient travel options for residents and visitors.

The company said two daily departures will be offered in each direction starting next Monday (Feb. 9).

Buses include free Wi-Fi, power outlets and complimentary luggage allowance.

Pickups in the city are at the Cooper Terminal.

The new bus services comes not long after ONEXBUS Service recently ceased Stratford operations.

The company said they are suspending all trips to Stratford until further notice after careful consideration and will communicate any updates as soon as circumstances allow the company to resume operations in the city.
