Volunteers at Stratford General Hospital have raised $202,000 to purchase four cardiorespiratory ventilators.

Mark Gibson, Corporate Lead for Volunteers-Student Engagement at Huron Perth Healthcare Alliance, said the donation exemplifies volunteers’ dedication to their community.

Funds were raised in just seven months, five months ahead of schedule.

Volunteers continue to raise funds for the hospital and are currently halfway to a goal of $1 million for the In Our Hands Capital Campaign.

The campaign will support critical priorities, including purchasing essential medical equipment and investments in staff training.
