St. Marys Lincolns storm back to win GOHL Western Conference crown

Three goals in just over two minutes rocketed St. Marys Lincolns into a lead they would not relinquish in Game 7 of the GOHL Western Conference final.

Lincoln Moore, James McGregor and Ethan Weir got pucks past Stratford Warriors goalie Noah Bender in the third period, after Max Wildfong and Grady Murphy had provided the Warriors a 2-0 lead in the series decider.

Camden Kean added an empty netter with 49 seconds remaining for a 4-2 win Tuesday at the Pyramid Recreation Centre.

Colby Booth-Housego stopped 31 shots for the Lincolns. Bender turned aside 26 pucks for the Warriors.

The Lincolns picked up a 6-3 road win over the Warriors on Sunday to force a seventh game.

The Lincolns move on to the Sutherland Cup championship series against Cambridge Redhawks.
