GOHL: Warriors looking for first ‘W’ against Nationals tonight

Stratford Warriors are gunning for their first win of the GOHL season when they welcome London Nationals to the Allman Memorial Arena tonight.

The Warriors, sitting in last place in the 12-team Western Conference, opened with consecutive 5-3 losses at St. Marys Lincolns and in Woodstock against the Navy Vets, before a 4-2 setback in their home opener against Chatham Maroons a week ago.

The Maroons and St. Thomas Stars are setting the pace with identical 4-0 records in the Western Conference.

The Cyclones travel to Sarnia to take on the Legionnaires on Saturday at 7 p.m.

The Warriors are at the Maroons on Sunday and Elmira Sugar Kings (3-1-0-0) host the Lincolns.

Both games start at 7 p.m.
