Perth East council will consider a Zoning By-law amendment next month.

There will be a public meeting on February 18th at 7:00pm in the Council Chambers.

The proposed amendment affects property in the Mornington Ward)described as Part of Lot 9, Concession 14 (8390 Perth Line 86).

The subject non-farm residential lot is being expanded by adding approximately 0.19 hectares of area from the surrounding farm.

The expanded lot is within the “Agricultural (A)” Zone and will not meet the minimum requirements for lot area (33 hectares) and lot frontage (200 metres) of the “(A)” Zone.

The Zoning By-law Amendment is requesting special provisions for lot area and lot frontage and will remain in the “Agricultural (A)” Zone.
