Le Souder, Lois

Lois Marjorie Le Souder, age 87, of Stratford passed away peacefully at the Stratford General Hospital on November 25, 2014.  Lois was born in Londesborough, November 30, 1926 daughter of the late Robert and Lillie Jamieson. She graduated as an RN from Stratford General Hospital in 1948 and worked there for many years.  She later worked at Prestonia in Stratford until her retirement.  In her retirement years she found great joy spending time with her grandchildren and family.  She was always helping friends and was an avid Blue Jays fan.  Beloved wife of the late William Le Souder who predeceased her December 6, 1973.  Loving mother of Jim (Barb), Brian (Norine).  Grandmother of Mark, Emily, Hannah, Aaron, Gregory, Braden and Michael. Lois is survived by sisters-in-law Ramona Jamieson, Marguerite Kelterborn (Larry), Margaret Le Souder, Jean Girvin and several nieces and nephews.  Besides her parents and husband she was predeceased by a brother James Jamieson, sisters Isabel Colson (Art), Hazel Donald (Jack), and brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law Clarence Le Souder (Florence), Leonard Le Souder (Marjorie), Doris McGraw (Leon), Marie McDonald (John), Ed Le Souder and Bill Girvin.  Friends and relatives may call at the W.G. Young Funeral Home, 430 Huron St. Stratford on Saturday, November 29, from 1 p.m. until the time of the funeral service at 2 p.m.  Interment will follow in Avondale Cemetery.  As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or the Lung Association through the funeral home.  519.271.7411 www.wgyoungfuneralhome.com
