Harmer, Donald

Donald Richard Harmer, age 79, passed away on Wednesday, November 26, 2014 at People Care (Stratford). Born in Stratford son of the late John and Olive (Harris) Harmer. Predeceased by his wife Dorothy (Mitchell) Harmer on January 14, 2011. Donald worked at Kroehler Furniture for many years. Loving father of Robert (Nancy) Harmer, Richard (Cheryl) Harmer and Steven Harmer. Cherished grandfather of Brianna Harmer.  Brother to Douglas (Dorothy) Harmer and sister Marion (Lorne) Mackenzie also survived by a sister-in-law Helen Harmer. Donald will be remembered by his many nieces and nephews.  Besides his parents and wife, Donald was predeceased by his brother Kenneth. The funeral service will take place at the W. G. Young Funeral Home 430 Huron Street, Stratford on Monday, December 1, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. with visitation one hour prior to the service.
