It is with sadness that we announce the death of our mother Frances Ruth Schmidt at the age of 94 at Hillside Manor on November 28, 2014. She was born November 23, 1920 in North Easthope Township to James Innes of Scotland and Edith Dunhill of England. She married Wilbert Schmidt of Gadshill, September 9, 1939. He predeceased her in 1980. She leaves two children Mervin Schmidt (Gloria) and Jim Schmidt. A loving grandmother to Heather Chisim and Nancy Schmidt de Quiroga (Diego). She will be remembered by great grandchildren Chelsea Chisim and Justin Quiroga. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Besides her parents and husband she was predeceased by a great grandson Ryan Chisim, by sisters Jean Hyde, Isabel Robertson and twin half sisters Margery Ruston and Blanche Frame. Friends and relatives may call at the W.G. Young Funeral Home, 430 Huron Street, Stratford on Tuesday, December 2, from 10 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 11 a.m. Rev. Michelle Down will officiate. Interment in Avondale Cemetery.
