CRAWFORD, Gayleen Wilma (Brown) – At London Health Science Centre – Victoria Campus on Monday January 27, 2014 in her 63rd year. Beloved wife of Frank Crawford. Loved mother of Daniel (Nicole) of Windsor and Joseph (Amanda) of Woodstock. Cherished grandmother of Justin, Jordan, Jonathan, Jayden and Lucas. Beloved daughter of Clare and Jean Brown of Tavistock. Dear sister of Bill (Wanda) Brown, Marilyn (Bob) Zehr, Elaine (Ed) VanKlooster and Darryl (Maureen) Brown. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Gayleen grew up on a farm near Tavistock. She loved books and was a librarian at the Oxford Regional Centre. She was an avid volunteer and loved working with children, teaching Sunday School for over 40 years. In her later years she published a book and made a scale model of Noah’s ark that she used to teach people the reality of the Bible. Gayleen was also a prayer warrior and a member of Oxford Baptist Church. Friends will be received at the Brock and Visser Funeral Home, 845 Devonshire Ave., Woodstock (519-539-0004) on Thursday January 30, 2014 from 2-4pm and 7-9pm. The funeral service will be at the Oxford Baptist Church, 278 Hunter Street on Friday January 31, 2014 at 11:00am with the Rev. Jason Gervais officiating. Interment in Oxford Memorial Park Cemetery.
