The Conestogo wind project has been cancelled.
Perth-Wellington MPP Randy Pettapiece calls the decision a “victory”.
The controversial project had met with significant backlash from residents.
Pettapiece says they deserve most of the praise:

The decision to cancel the project was mutually agreed to by the Ontario Power Authority and American company Invenergy.
