Pettapiece pleased with decision to cancel Conestogo wind project

The Conestogo wind project has been cancelled.

Perth-Wellington MPP Randy Pettapiece calls the decision a “victory”.

The controversial project had met with significant backlash from residents.

Pettapiece says they deserve most of the praise:

He says this decision could help get other wind projects terminated:

The decision to cancel the project was mutually agreed to by the Ontario Power Authority and American company Invenergy.
