Dorothy Emma Robinson nee Hinz, of Greenwood Court, Stratford, passed away peacefully on Saturday, January 3, 2015. Dorothy was the daughter of the late Henry John Koch and Emma Hinz. She was born in Stratford on March 3, 1921. Dorothy married Peter Robinson in Saskatoon in June 1941. She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church, Stratford, where she sang in the choir for several years. Dorothy is survived by her son Peter Robinson and wife Beverlee of Ennismore and her daughter Marnie Horwood and husband Gordon of Etobicoke. She will be fondly remembered by her grandchildren Paul Robinson, Kelli Ann Rogers and husband Derek, Craig Robinson and wife Clara, David Horwood and wife Lauren, Donna and Andrew Hunt, Shari Knox and David and Michelle McVety. She is also survived by her fourteen great-grandchildren. Dorothy is survived by her nieces Jane Stewart and husband Robert and Suzanne MacEwan and husband Neil. Besides her parents, Dorothy is predeceased by her sister Margaret McCarthy and her husband William. Friends and relatives will be received at The James A. Rutherford Funeral Home 156 Albert Street, Stratford on Thursday January 8th at 10a.m. funeral service to follow at 11a.m. at the funeral home. Pastor Jeff Laustsen to officiate.
