Bomasuit, Angelo

The Bomasuit family wishes to announce the passing of Angelo Martin Bomasuit, on Thursday January 8, 2015 in his 87th year. He was predeceased by his loving wife Dorothy Elizabeth Yousie, March 16, 2010. Dear brother of Irene Ruscetta, and Marie (Enio) Marinelli, Carman (Barbara) Bomasuit, Margaret (Fred) Overholt and Michael (Liz) Bomasuit. Angelo is survived by three step-daughters Sharon Smith, Trudy Nichol and Denise Sheppard. He will be fondly remembered by his grandchildren Leanne and Glen Smith, Rick and Debbie Smith and Susan and Mark Scobie. Angelo was a loving great-grandfather to 7 great-grandchildren. He will also be fondly remembered by several nieces and nephews. Angelo ran the family fruit business in Sebringville and Stratford, known as Allen’s Fruit Market, for many years. Angelo was a long standing employee of Canadian Fab until retirement. He had a passion for life, and always doing things the right way. The family wishes to extend a special thank you to the caring staff of Stratford General Hospital for the compassionate care you gave Angelo. Many thanks to Dr. Narayan and Dr.Kenyon. Thanks and appreciation, as well, to the staff at Hillside Manor, especially Nancy Murray, for the personal care and undivided attention you gave to Angelo. Angelo will always be remembered by a beautiful smile with a dimple.  Relatives and friends are welcomed at the James A. Rutherford Funeral Home, 156 Albert Street, Stratford on Tuesday, January 13, 2015 for a celebration of Angelo’s life, at 11:00 a.m. Fr. Richard Bester will officiate.  Interment will follow at Avondale Cemetery.  As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations may be made to Stratford General Hospital Foundation, Hillside Manor or a charity of ones choice through the funeral home at 519-271-5062. www.jarfh.com
