Margaret Elizabeth Paff, age 89, passed away peacefully at Hillside Manor on January 10, 2015. She was born in Wilmot Township, daughter of the late Harvey and Christina Hesse. Beloved wife of the late Laverne Louis Paff who predeceased her in 2002. Loving mother of Donald Paff and David Paff. Margaret is also survived by sisters-in-law and brother-in-law Mary Hesse, Gilbert Johnson, Laurene Sherk and several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents and husband she was predeceased by a son Walter Laverne Paff, sisters Beatrice Johnson, Vivian Paff, brothers Howard Hesse and Harold in infancy and by brothers-in-law Gordon Paff and Willard Sherk. Margaret and Laverne farmed in North Easthope Township for many years. After Laverne’s passing she moved to Stratford. She was a member of Memorial Baptist Church, Stratford. Friends and relative may call at the W.G,. Young Funeral Home, 430 Huron Street, Stratford on Tuesday, January 13, from 7-9 p.m. and on Wednesday at Memorial Baptist Church, 113 Bruce Street, Stratford from 1 p.m. until the time of the funeral service at 2 p.m. Pastor David Elliott will officiate. Spring interment in St. Andrews Cemetery, North Easthope Township.
