Widmeyer, Catherine Anne Biers

Catherine Anne Biers Widmeyer, age 48, of Kitchener-Waterloo passed away peacefully in her sleep at home after a short illness on Thursday, January 30, 2014.  Cathy was born in Peterborough, eldest daughter of the late Ron and Rita Biers of Stratford.  Beloved wife of Philip Widmeyer.  She is survived by her sister Lori Bridge (Damian) of Sydney, Australia and held a special place in the lives of her nephews Patrick and Michael Bridge.  She will be missed by her parents-in-law, Lloyd & Kathleen Widmeyer of Hanover, and their extended family including, Grae, Barbara, Colin, Quentin & Debra, their spouses and children.  A private family service will be held at a later date.  In keeping with Cathy’s love of life and positive, cheerful nature, please undertake an act of kindness and enjoy a good laugh with someone you care about in lieu of flowers or memorial donations. www.wgyoungfuneralhome.com
