Wood, Florence

Florence M. Wood, 93, of Mitchell passed away peacefully surrounded by her family at the Ritz Lutheran Villa on Wednesday, February 25, 2015.

Beloved wife of the late Gordon Wood.  Dear mother of Sharon Larsen of Oakwood and David and Gerda Wood of Stratford.  Remembered with love by her grandchildren Lisa McQuaid and Ward, Lee Anne Murray and Doug, Mike Wood and Christina, Katie Garzon and Diego, Derek Wood and Marta, Chris Wood and Sara, and great grandchildren Dylan Sproule, Travis and Karly Murray, Gavin and Myla Wood. Dear sister of Elsie McSpadden, Ruth Rowe, Murray and Olene Dennis, Don and Esther Dennis. Dear sister-in-law of Ken and Isabel Wilbee and Joanne Dennis.  Also surviving are many nieces and nephews.

Predeceased by her parents Porter and Mary Dennis, sisters Elnor, Grace Wilbee and Helen Sims, brother Grant and brothers-in-law Sam McSpadden, Al Sims and Wes Rowe.

Friends will be received at the Lockhart Funeral Home, Mitchell on Saturday, February 28, 2015 from 2-4 p.m. and on Sunday from 2:00 p.m. until time of funeral service at3:00 p.m.  A reception will follow at the Lockhart Reception Centre.
