Pletsch, Rose

Rose Pletsch, 90, of Stratford passed away at Stratford General Hospital on Saturday, February 28, 2015.

Beloved wife of the late Wilfred Seebach and Laverne Pletsch. Dear mother of Bob Seebach and Victoria; and Betty Shantz. Dear step-mother of Larry Pletsch and Yvonne, Denise Smith, Donnalene Tuer-Hoades and Peter; and Barry Pletsch. She will be sadly missed by her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Dear sister of Art Heimpel and Marie, Don Heimpel and Bev, Alice Cook and Gerald. Lovingly remembered by her nieces and nephews.

Predeceased by her parents George and Edith Heimpel, brother Ted and Leona, and sister-in-law Joanne Heimpel.

Rose left this world a better place: she was a positive leader in her church, W.I. and 4-H. She enjoyed relating to family and friends, young and old, and was a life-long learner. Rose laughed, loved, lived life to the full and will be fondly remembered.
Visitation at the Lockhart Funeral Home, Mitchell on Tuesday, March 3, 2015 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. where the funeral service will be held on Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. A reception will follow at the Lockhart Reception Centre. Spring interment in Fullarton Evangelical Cemetery. Memorial donations to Emmanuel United Church, Sebringville or the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.
