Woman charged after child hit by car in Stratford

Charges have been laid after a pedestrian was hit by a car in Stratford.

Inspector Sam Theocharis says it happened Saturday afternoon.

The seven-year-old child was taken to the hospital with minor injuries.

The driver, a 54-year-old woman from Mitchell, has been charged with failing to stop for a red light.
