William Joseph Gould, age 71, of Stratford passed away peacefully at the Stratford General Hospital on Wednesday February 5, 2014.
Born in Guelph, son of Mary (Kay) Gould of Stratford and the late William Gould. Bill was employed at T.B. Woods retiring in 1995. He was a member of the A.N.A.F. Unit 261, Stratford and worked as a bar steward.  An avid fisherman and golf player Bill always enjoyed life to it’s fullest, always surrounded by his adoring family and treasured friends.
Beloved husband of 50 years to Hanne (Thomsen) Gould. Loving father of Micheal Gould (Suzanne) and Terry Gould. Cherished grandfather of Dylan, Josh and step-grandson Tyler.
Dear brother of Marie Bauer (Bob), Tom (Louise), Bob (Marlene), Marg Maslen (Mike), Dave (Janice), Gary (Donna), Joan McCarthy (John) and John. Also survived by many nieces, nephews and their families.
Besides his father he was predeceased by brother James Gould, and his much loved mother and father-in-law Edith (Nielsen) and Henry Thomsen.
A memorial service will be held at the W.G. Young Funeral Home, 430 Huron St., Stratford on Monday February 10th at 11 a.m.(A.N.A.F. service at 10:45 a.m.) Reception to follow at the Army, Navy and Air Force Hall, 151 Lorne Ave., E., Stratford.
