Cook, Raymond Andrew

Passed away on Friday April 3, 2015 at Grand River Hospital, Freeport Health Centre, Kitchener.  Ray resided in New Hamburg.  He was born 92 years ago in New Hamburg and was the son of the late Andrew & Elsie (Riehl) Cook.

Beloved husband of Mildred (Zoeller) Cook whom he married May 5, 1944.  Loving father of Robert & wife Joan Cook, Pat & husband Paul Diebel all of New Hamburg.  Sadly missed by his grandchildren Andrew & Martha, Jeremy & Sandra, Scott, Todd & Kristen, Pam & Jeff and his great-grandchildren Teagan, Shelby, Kara, Raelyn, Atlanta, Lily, Isabelle, Elle and Beatrice.  Dear brother-in-law of Violet Cook of Kitchener and Jean Cook of New Hamburg, Rita Coxson of Kitchener, Joan Christensen of Tavistock and Marg Zoeller of New Hamburg.   Ray was predeceased by his brothers Earl, Stuart, sisters-in-law Ruth & husband Lorne Schlemmer and Grace Zoeller brothers-in-law Carl Zoeller, Clarence & wife Lorraine Zoeller, Don Coxson, Bob Mountain, Richard Christensen and Al Flood.

Family and friends will be received at the Mark Jutzi Funeral Home, 291 Huron Street, New Hamburg on  Tuesday April 7, 2015 from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m.  The funeral service will take place on Wednesday April 8, 2015 at Trinity Lutheran Church, New Hamburg at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Stephen Larson officiating.  Interment to follow in Riverside Cemetery, New Hamburg.  As expressions of sympathy donations may be made to the Wilmot Heritage Fire Brigade or Trinity Lutheran Church.
