Stratford’s new chief building official will take a look at the Cooper Site.
City council wants Derek Pigozzo to review a recent unsafe order directed at the city over the rundown property.
A report in the Beacon Herald says council made that decision at Monday’s meeting.
The order points out a number of safety issues with the Cooper Site.
To address the issues a fence needs to be installed and anything that could fall from the roof has to be removed.
That work is supposed to be done by the end of May.
