Marjorie Smith, 84, of Stratford and formerly of Bornholm passed away at Stratford General Hospital with her family at her side on Wednesday, April 15, 2015.
Beloved wife of the late Ken Smith. Dear mother of Dennis Smith, Dean Smith and Peggy, Sheila Chessell and Paul, Sharon Smith and Chris Lewis. Loving grandmother of Troy Chessell and Jodi, Travis Chessell and Ashley, Erin Smith and Dudley, Amy Smith and Shawn. Cherished great grandmother of Benjamin and Emily Chessell. Dear sister of Ralph Fischer and Fran. Also surviving are her nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by her sister Olive Scherbarth, brother-in-law Edwin Scherbarth and sister-in-law Joyce Fischer.
Friends will be received at the Lockhart Funeral Home, 109 Montreal St., Mitchell on Friday, April 17, 2015 from 6-8 p.m. and on Saturday from 10:30 a.m. until time of funeral service at 11:30 a.m. with Pastor Laura Sauder officiating. Interment in St. Peter’s Lutheran Cemetery.
