Jean Marie O’Donovan, age 89, passed away peacefully at Ritz Lutheran Villa, Mitchell on April 18, 2015. She was born in Mitchell, February 7, 1926, daughter of the late James and Matilda Robertson. Beloved wife of the late Patrick O’Donovan who predeceased her August 14, 2012. Loving mother of Joanna Heinbuch, Pat O’Donovan (Cindy), Marg Brickman (Jim), Mike O’Donovan (Patty), Veronica Flood and Kevin O’Donovan (Christine). Cherished grandmother of Melissa Akey (Darren), Kellie Heinbuch (Jay Legault), Amanda O’Donovan (Simon Esler), Katie O’Donovan (Susheel Palanivelu), Patrick O’Donovan (Victoria Gouge), Jennifer Brickman (Philip Kitchen), Joshua Brickman (Monique), Matthew Brickman (Katia Maxwell), Ryan O’Donovan (Rita), Meghan O’Donovan, Rachel O’Donovan (Quinn O’Brien), Liam, Connor and Rory O’Donovan. Great grandmother of Emma, Owen, Keira, LJ, Samuel, Nash, Kaitlin, Aisling, Ava, Kallum, Connor, Liam, MJ, Savita, Kieran, Graham, Ronan and Asher. Dear sister of Helen Brown. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents and husband she was predeceased by sisters Pearl Hoffmeyer (Ted), Loretta Brown (George), a brother Roy Aitkens and sister-in-law and brothers-in-law Rita O’Sullivan (Paddy) and Gordon Brown. Jean was a member of St. Joseph’s Roman Catholic Church, Stratford and the Catholic Women’s League. Friends and relatives may call at the W.G. Young Funeral Home, 430 Huron Street, Stratford on Tuesday, April 21, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. (Catholic Women’s League Prayers at 1:45 p.m.)  The funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Joseph’s Roman Catholic Church, 96 Huron Street, Stratford on Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. Father Dick Bester – Celebrant. Interment at Avondale Cemetery.
