Miller, Russell

Russell Alvin Miller passed away peacefully in his 93rd year at Seaforth Community Hospital on Monday, May 4, 2015.

Beloved husband of Margaret (Dow) Miller. Loving father of Lee and husband Jim Lyle of St. Thomas, Teresa Miller, Gordon Miller and partner Michele Decman and Mark Miller, all of London. Proud Poppa of Tracey Lyle (Maclean Gordon) and Mikayla Decman. Survived by sister Jean Duncan and brothers Jim Miller and John Miller, brother-in-law Jack Butson, sisters-in-law Wilma Butson, Mary F. Dow and Betty Dow.

Predeceased by his parents Wilbur and Annie Miller, brother Ken Miller, sister Dorothy (Ken) Duncan, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law Jack Duncan, Joyce Miller, Dorothy Miller, Elmer Dow, Mervin Dow and Roger Dow, Velma and Lorne Doupe, Gladys and Joe Allen.

Friends were received at the Lockhart Funeral Home, 109 Montreal St., Mitchell on Thursday, May 7, 2015 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. where the funeral service was held on Friday at 11:00 a.m. Memorial donations to the Mitchell Agricultural Society (Crystal Palace renovations) or the charity of one’s choice would be appreciated.  Online condolences at www.LockhartFuneralHome.com.
