Alice Lillian Davidson, age 67, of Stratford passed away peacefully at the LHSC Victoria Hospital on May 24, 2015. She was born in Brant Township, daughter of the late Sadie Hossfeld and step father Larry Lawrence. Loving mother of Sherry Davidson (Rod), Dawn Marie Davidson (Michael), Deanne Malcho (Jason). Grandmother of J.D., Katie, Casey, Virginia, Everett, Dacre, Daina, Hunter and Avery. Dear sister of Mary Ann Belkwell, Donald Hossfeld (Shirley), Linda Leonard (Clay), Kim Pleil (George). Also survived by a sister-in-law Jane Hossfeld and several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents she was predeceased by a son Donald Maika, brothers William, Kenneth, Carl, also John Karl and George in infancy and by a brother-in-law Bronis Belkwell and a sister-in-law Stella Hossfeld. Alice was a foster parent in Stratford for many years. She was a member of the Pythian Sisters. Friends and relatives may call at the W.G. Young Funeral Home, 430 Huron Street, Stratford on Wednesday, May 27, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Thursday at 2 p.m. with a reception to follow.
