The OPP has charged a West Perth man following a fatal crash near the Stratford Airport. It happened Wednesday morning at the intersection of Line 40 and Road 110.
A pickup truck and a motorcycle collided leading to the death of 16-year-old Jeremy Wickenheiser of Perth East. Wickenheiser was riding the motorcycle.
Police say the pickup truck crossed Line 40 directly into Wickenheiser’s path. The man driving the pickup truck, 77-year-old Arnold Van Moorsel of West Perth, has been charged with “careless driving”.
