Whitehead, Veronica

Veronica “Bonnie” Shirley Whitehead of Stratford passed away peacefully at Stratford General Hospital on May 26, 2015 in her 86th year. Born in Stratford she was the daughter of the late Irene McLaughlin. Bonnie was the beloved wife of George Whitehead. Dear mother of Ted and Joan Whitehead of Chilliwack, British Columbia and Tom and Karen Whitehead of Newmarket, Ontario. Nana will be fondly remembered by her grandchildren, Lindsey and Josh Kearley, Matthew Whitehead and Bethany Briggs. She loved her two great-grandchildren Irelyn and Benjamin. Friends and relatives may call at the James A. Rutherford Funeral Home, 156 Albert St., Stratford, this evening, Thursday May 28 from 7-9pm. A funeral mass will be held on Friday May 29 at 11am at Immaculate Conception Roman Catholic Church, Stratford. Interment to follow in Avondale Cemetery.  As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Society of Canada or a charity of one’s choice through the funeral home at 519-271-5062. www.jarfh.com
