Helen Appleby, 91, of Mitchell passed away peacefully at the Mitchell Nursing Home on Thursday, May 28, 2015.

Beloved wife of the late Roy Appleby. Dear mother of Al Appleby and Kaye, Ken Appleby and Colleen, Muriel Scherbarth and Walter. Loving grandmother of Patti McDowell and David, Rob Appleby and Cheryl, Bill Appleby and Julie, Erin Appleby and A.J. Moore, Sandra Scherbarth and Ryan Pembroke, Dennis Scherbarth, Warren Scherbarth and Leanne. Cherished great grandmother of eleven great grandchildren.

Predeceased by her parents Bert and Janey Hoggart and sister Beatrice Hesselwood.

Friends will be received at the Lockhart Funeral Home, 109 Montreal St., Mitchell on Friday, May 29, 2015 from 6-8 p.m. and on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until time of funeral service at 11:00 a.m. A reception will follow at the Lockhart Reception Centre. Interment in Maitland Bank Cemetery, Seaforth.
