Reynolds, Marie

Marie Wilemina Reynolds, age 80, of Stratford passed away at the Stratford General Hospital on Wednesday, June 10, 2015.  She was born in Stratford on November 14, 1934 and was the daughter of the late Edwin Price and the former Rose Vollmer. Marie was the beloved wife of John Reynolds who she married July 31, 1954 at Immaculate Conception Roman Catholic Church, Stratford. Dear mother of Cathy and husband Aaron Szchory of Bradford, Karen and Jeff Liedtke of Stratford, and Sharon and Robert Schwantz of Stratford. She took great joy in her grandchildren, Melanie and Robyn Szchory, Matthew, Daniel and Amanda Keane as well as Justin and Adam Schwantz. Marie is also survived by 4 great-grandchildren. She will be lovingly remembered by her brothers Francis Price and wife Marlene, John Price and wife Donna, as well as her brother-in-law Donald Jamula. Besides her parents Marie is predeceased by her brother Ronald Price and sisters Theresa Gallant and Norma Jamula. She was an avid sports fan, and more specifically held strong allegiances to the Toronto major sports teams. Marie held her faith above all else and was a member of Immaculate Conception Roman Catholic Church, since she was a young girl. A funeral mass will take place at 11:30 a.m. on Friday, June 12 at Immaculate Conception Roman Catholic Church, 50 Well St., Stratford.   Father Richard Bester will officiate. Interment in Avondale Cemetery will follow the Service. Memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Lung Association or the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada through the James A. Rutherford Funeral Home, 156 Albert St., Stratford at 519-271-5062. www.jarfh.com
