Hunt, Clifford

Clifford Alfred Hunt, age 87, formerly of Stratford, passed away peacefully at Seaforth Manor on Tuesday, June 23, 2015. Born in Hamilton, son of the late James and Winnifred Hunt and step mother Dorothy Hunt. Loving husband and best friend of the late Joan Elizabeth (Camm) Hunt who predeceased him September 17, 2012. Clifford worked for many years at Pounder Brothers before his retirement. Cliff and Joan enjoyed many summers at their trailer at Paul Bunyan Camp with family and friends. Cliff enjoyed his volunteer time spent with the Special Olympics and the Stratford Minor Baseball. Clifford is survived by his son Brad Hunt and wife Debora Anne and their sons Matthew and Chad, brothers-in-law Bob Camm and wife Carol, Jim Camm and wife Marg, sisters-in-law Janet Gee and Denise Camm.  Clifford will be remembered by his step brothers Dave Hunt and wife Lorraine, Steve Hunt and wife Cindy. Besides his parents and wife, Clifford was predeceased by his brothers Bert Hunt, Don Hunt, Ken Hunt and Jim Hunt, mother and father-in-law Raymond and Frieda Camm and brother-in-law Terry Camm.  Friends and family may call at the W. G. Young Funeral Home, 430 Huron Street, Stratford on Friday, June 26, 2015 from 1:00 p.m. until the time of the funeral service at 2:00 p.m. Interment will follow in Avondale Cemetery.
