Marian Wallace, 96, of Mitchell passed away peacefully at the Mitchell Nursing Home on Wednesday, June 24, 2015.

Beloved wife of the late John Wallace. Dear mother of Shirley Russell and Roy, Laverne Wallace and Pat, and Deborah Renne. Dear mother-in-law of Bob Parkinson and Dorrie. Loving grandmother of 18 grandchildren, 47 great grandchildren and 38 great great grandchildren. Dear sister of Agnes Russell and Donald Scott. Also surviving are a number of nieces and nephews.

Predeceased by her parents Russell and Grace Scott, daughter Margaret Parkinson, son-in-law Harry Elliott, grandson Stephen Elliott, sister Margaret Cadick, brothers-in-law Frank Cadick and Wesley Russell and sister-in-law Nola Scott.

Friends will be received at the Lockhart Funeral Home, 109 Montreal St., Mitchell on Monday, June 29, 2015 from 6-8 p.m. where the funeral service will be held on Tuesday at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Robert Adams officiating. A reception will follow at the Lockhart Reception Centre. Interment in Staffa Cemetery. Memorial donations to Knox Presbyterian Church Window Fund, Cancer Society (Research) or charity of one’s choice would be appreciated.  Online condolences at www.LockhartFuneralHome.com.
