A Perth County OPP officer is back at home and an investigation is underway after she was hurt in a car accident.
Constable Lisa Irwin responded to a crash yesterday afternoon in whiteout conditions on Perth County Road 131.
Irwin was in her cruiser, with her emergency lights on and road flares set up, when it was hit from behind by a pickup truck coming out of Milverton.
She was taken to hospital and treated for non-life threatening injuries.
Two other people in the cruiser suffered minor injuries.
Charges are pending.
