Tapley, Allen

Allen “Al “Douglas Tapley, age 66, passed away peacefully, surrounded by his loving children on Saturday, October 17, 2015 at the Stratford General Hospital. Born in Stratford, son of the late Stan and Gwen (Allen) Tapley.  Proud father of his three children, Kate Tapley (Joe Piercey), Andrew Tapley and Angie Canning, and along with his canine companion Holly.  Al started his career with Perth Motors in Stratford, before opening and operating Stonetown Tires and Collision in St. Marys. In 2000, he acquired Nick and Dan’s Collision from the Festoso family. Al was predeceased by his only sister Susan Robson. Family and friends are invited to a celebration of Al’s life at the Stratford Country Club, 53 Romeo Street North, Stratford, on Saturday, October 24, 2015 from 1:00 – 4:00p.m. In lieu of flowers and as expressions of sympathy, memorial donations may be made to the Stratford General Hospital Foundation or Stratford Rotary Club – Stratford/Perth Hospice Project through the W.
