Bald, Earl

Earl Franklin Bald, age 87, of RR# 1 Sebringville passed away suddenly at the Stratford General Hospital on October 27, 2015. Earl was born in Stratford, son of the late Arthur and Mabel Bald. Beloved husband of Dorothy (Schineman) whom he married October 23, 1971. Loving father of Robin Bald (Maria Van Straaten). Grandfather of Corbin and Abby. Earl was predeceased by a brother-in-law Richard Schineman in 2006. Earl farmed all of his life at Lots 20 and 21, Concession 5 of Ellice Township until his passing. He was a member of Second St. John’s Lutheran Church, Wartburg. Earl was an avid hunter most of his life. He enjoyed spending time cutting wood in the bush on the farms and in his early years he loved to make maple syrup in his sugar shack. Friends and relatives may call at the W.G. Young Funeral Home, 430 Huron Street, Stratford on Saturday, October 31, from 1 p.m. until the time of the funeral service at 2 p.m. Rev. William Kramer will officiate. Interment at Avondale Cemetery.
