Schneider, John E.D.

John Schneider, 81, of Mitchell passed away peacefully surrounded by his family at Stratford General Hospital on Sunday, March 9, 2014.

Beloved husband of Janet (Saunders) Schneider. Loving father of Jeannie (Norman) Rolleman and Cathy (Wayne) Richmond. Dear grandfather of Matthew Richmond, step-grandfather of Candice Streicher (Ben), Kirk Richmond and Christopher Richmond. Dear brother of Ruth Ebel, Ken  (Shirley) Schneider and brother-in-law of Shirley Bracegirdle. Lovingly remembered by special friends Pauline Harrison ( Phil), Carol Terry (Mike), Maria Soares (Chris) and Laurie Virtue (Andy). He will be missed  by many nieces and nephews.

Predeceased by his parents Floyd and Florence Schneider, brothers Walter and Donald.

Friends will be received at Lockhart Funeral Home, 109 Montreal St., Mitchell on Thursday, March 13, 2014 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held at Upper Thames Missionary Church Friday at 2:00 p.m. Memorial donations to Upper Thames Missionary Church would be appreciated.
