Brownlee, Alfred

Alfred William Brownlee, a longtime resident of Greenwood Court, Stratford, passed away on Sunday, November 15, 2015 at the age of 92. Born in Fullarton Township on April 15, 1923, son of the late Cecil Brownlee and the former Florence Guy.  Alfred is survived by his sister Jean Davis of St. Marys, brother Alan Brownlee of Mitchell, niece Gloria Cockwill (Nelson) of St. Marys, nephews Douglas Brownlee of Toronto and Kevin Brownlee of Mitchell, great nieces Sharon Foley (Brent) of St. Marys and Dianne McKay (Joshua) of St. Marys and by his great-great niece Peyton Foley also of St. Marys. Predeceased by his sister-in-law Hilda Brownlee (1999) and brother-in-law Alvin Davis (2004). Al was a longtime employee, Plant Manager at Hendrickson Manufacturing.  At Al’s request, a private family memorial will be held at the W.G. Young Funeral Home, 430 Huron St, Stratford.  Interment at Woodland Cemetery, Mitchell.
