The Birmingham Conservatory needs a new Director.
Martha Henry has decided to move on once her contract runs out at the end of next year’s session. Henry has been director since 2007.
She’s been a part of the Stratford Festival in various capacities over a six decade span.
Henry will share responsibility for the 2016-17 Conservatory to ensure a smooth transition. The Festival says the announcement is being made this early to make sure there’s plenty of time to find a successor.
