It is with heavy hearts we announce the sudden passing of Allen Wayne Goforth, age 66, of Stratford at Victoria Hospital, London on March 10, 2014. He was born in Stratford, son of the late Arthur and Ruby (Nowack) Goforth. Beloved husband and best friend of Helen (Walsh). Loving father of Tammy Riley (Kevin), Kim DeBoer (Kevin), Dwayne Goforth (Karen). Cherished grandfather of Andrew and David Goforth, Jacob and Sam Riley, Kaniya and Kyla DeBoer, Shealyn and Katie Goforth. Dear brother of Mary Oliver, Randy Goforth (Jacquie), Dennis Goforth (Karen). Lovingly remembered by the Walsh family and several nieces and nephews. Allen was a kind considerate person who always thought of others first. He believed strongly in family and friendships. He will always be remembered for his hearty laugh and will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. Friends and relatives may call at the W.G. Young Funeral Home, 430 Huron Street, Stratford on Friday, March 14, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Saturday, March 15, at 11:00 a.m. with reception to follow.
