William Bartholemew Heinbuch, age 92, of Mitchell and formerly of Stratford passed away at Stratford General Hospital on January 31, 2016. Born in South Easthope Township, he was the son of the late Edward Heinbuch and the former Margaret Wettlaufer. Bill served overseas with the Canadian Air Force during the Second World War. He worked at Kroehlers for 35 years. After leaving Kroehlers, he graduated from the Canadian Jewellers Institute and worked for 15 years managing jewellery stores in Orillia and the surrounding area. Beloved husband of Bernice (Schellenberger) Heinbuch, whom he married at First St. John’s Lutheran Church, Seebach’s Hill on June 25, 1949. Also survived by several nieces and nephews and their families. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by brothers Lloyd Heinbuch and Jack Heinbuch, his sisters Marie Heinbuch and Edna Heinbuch and sisters-in-law Catherine Heinbuch and Kay Heinbuch. At Bill’s prior request, cremation will take place and there will be no funeral home visitation. A private family graveside service will be held at First St. John’s Cemetery, Seebach’s Hill. As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations may be made to a charity of one’s choice through the James A.
