Kneisel, Wilfred

Passed away peacefully on Thursday, February 11, 2016 at The Village at University Gates, Waterloo.  Wilfred was the son of the late Frederick & Louisa (Foerster) Kneisel.

Beloved husband of Reta (Schmidt) Kneisel .  Loving father of Darlene Kelterborn & Thom Hagerty of Guelph, Wayne Kneisel & Karen Heipel of New Hamburg, Delores & Luke Schwartzentruber, Brian & Barbara Kneisel all of R.R. # 1 Wellesley.  Sadly missed by his 11 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren .  Dearly loved by Susan, Raymond & Timothy Seyler. Dear brother of Alice Knipfel of Sudbury.  Wilfred was predeceased by son Roy in 1977, daughter Dianne Hoffman in 1973, sisters Dorothy & Armand Lantz, Gertrude & Norman Jacky, brothers Harvey & Marie Kneisel, Walter & Margaret Kneisel , one in infancy and brother-in-law Elmer Knipfel.

Family and friends will be received at the Mark Jutzi Funeral Home, 291 Huron Street, New Hamburg on Sunday February 14, 2016 from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m.   The funeral service will be held on Monday February 15, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at St. James Lutheran Church, North Easthope Township with Pastor Barry Boeckner officiating.  Interment in the church cemetery.  As expressions of sympathy donations may be made to St. James Lutheran Cemetery Perpetual Care or the charity of one’s choice.
