Skinner, Ronald

Ron Skinner, 87, of RR1, Mitchell passed away at Stratford General Hospital on Sunday, February 21, 2016.

Beloved husband of the late Verlyn Skinner (1998).  Dear father of Linda Reynolds, Lowell Skinner and Joyce, Richard Skinner and Lori. Loving grandfather of Joel Reynolds and Kristina, Meghan Hodgins and Steve, Caleb, Nigel and Damon Skinner, Hannah and Jerett Skinner. Cherished great grandfather of Flynn, Callum and Reid. Dear brother of Dave Skinner and Lenore. Dear brother-in-law of Doreen Skinner, Frank Morris and Irene.

Predeceased by his parents John and Mary Skinner, sister Myrtle Sherstianko (Sam), brother Joe Skinner, brother-in-law Archie Morris (Marilyn) and granddaughter Hillary Skinner.

Friends will be received at the Lockhart Funeral Home, 109 Montreal St., Mitchell on Tuesday, February 23, 2016 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. where the funeral service will be held on Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. Spring interment in Bethel-Munro Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Stratford and District Right to Life, Canadian Bible Society or charity of one’s choice would be appreciated.  Online condolences at www.LockhartFuneralHome.com.
