Hohner, Arlene Karen

Passed away peacefully on Tuesday March 2, 2016 at Listowel Memorial Hospital.  Arlene resided at R.R. # 3 Listowel and was formerly of Tavistock.  She was born 68 years ago in Wilmot Township and was the daughter of the late Orlando & Violet (Wagler) Ruby.

Beloved wife of the late Percy Hohner who predeceased her May 31, 2004.  Dear sister of Anna Mae & husband William Kuepfer of Listowel, Dorcas & husband Arvel Shepherd of New Hamburg, Paul Ruby of Lundar, Manitoba, David & wife Diane Ruby of Brandon, Manitoba and Deborah & husband Timothy Johnson of Medina, Ohio.  Also remembered by the Hohner family and a number of nieces and nephews.  Arlene was predeceased by her brother Glen Ruby.

Arlene was a member of Tavistock Mennonite Church.  She enjoyed writing poetry, doing artwork and knitting.

Family and friends will be received at the Mark Jutzi Funeral Home, 291 Huron Street, New Hamburg on Friday March 4, 2016 from noon until 2:00 p.m.  The funeral service will follow at 2:30 p.m. at the funeral home with Pastor Paul Adams officiating.  Cremation will follow with interment in Trinity Lutheran Cemetery, Sebastopol-Tavistock at a later date.  As expressions of sympathy donations may be made to Canadian Mental Health, Heart & Stroke Foundation of Ontario or the Mennonite Central Committee.
