Alice Diegel, 88, of Mitchell passed away peacefully at the Ritz Lutheran Villa, Mitchell on Monday, April 4, 2016.

Beloved wife of the late Henry Diegel.  Dear mother of Donald, James Diegel and Bonnie, Carl Diegel and Liz, Gloria Phillips and Marcel. Loving grandmother of Kevin, Daryl, David, Ben, Allison and Melissa Diegel, Kim Farrell, Lori McDonald, Chuck and Tracey Dempsey. Cherished by her many great grandchildren. Remembered by the Diegel family.

Predeceased by her parents John and Norma Byermann, siblings Audrey McTaggart, Iris Wilson, Ruth Schmidt, Gordon and Melvin Byermann and her great granddaughter Joelle.

Friends will be received at the Lockhart Funeral Home, 109 Montreal St., Mitchell on Thursday, April 7, 2016 from 6-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held at St. Peter’s Lutheran Church, Brodhagen on Friday at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Laura Sauder officiating. Interment in St. Peter’s Lutheran Cemetery. Memorial donations to the St. Peter’s Lutheran Church, Ontario March of Dimes or Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.  Online condolences atwww.LockhartFuneralHome.com.
