Stratford’s new Chief of Police will be official sworn in today.
Mike Bellai was named chief in March.
He’s been a police officer for 28 years and joined the Stratford Police in 1990.
Bellai was promoted to Deputy Chief in 2013 and has been Acting Chief since November of 2015.
The swearing-in ceremony is happening at the City Hall Auditorium.
