Michael Schweitzer is set to be sentenced today.
He was found guilty of second degree murder and assault with a weapon back in January.
In December of 2012 Schweitzer shot Tyler Baker and 17-year-old Nicole Wagler in Milverton.
Wagler lost her life in the shooting.
Schweitzer was originally supposed to be sentenced in April but a problem with paperwork caused a delay.
Second degree murder carries a mandatory life sentence without the chance of parole for between 10 and 25 years.
