Ron Stacey, 78, of Mitchell passed away suddenly at St. Mary’s Hospital, Kitchener on Saturday, July 2, 2016.
Dear father of Bob Stacey and Melinda of Mount Hope and Star Leasa and Shawn of Stratford. Loving grandfather of Alicia and GianPaulo and family, Jordan and Jon and family, Stephen and Jodi Stacey, Matthew and Tyler Leasa. Dear friend of Judy Wood of Mitchell. Dear brother of Larry Stacey and Gail, and Sharon Morris, all of Stratford. Also surviving are the Wood family; Colin and Pauline, Craig and Sara and family, CarolAnn and Troy McMann and family. He will also be missed by his nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by his parents Jack and Leona Stacey.
Ron had an avid interest in Country and Western music, having won top honours in singing contests in Essex, North Bay and Simcoe. He was a retired milk truck driver with Stacey Bros. and Parmalat in Mitchell.
Friends will be received at the Lockhart Funeral Home, Mitchell on Tuesday, July 5, 2016 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. The funeral service will be held at Grace Lutheran Church, Mitchell on Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Gery Luck officiating. Interment in Grace Lutheran Cemetery, Mitchell. Memorial donations to Alzheimer Society of Stratford or the Stratford Branch of the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated. Online condolences at of www.LockhartFuneralHome.com.
