Crerar, Barbara

Barbara Jean Crerar, age 73, of Stratford passed away suddenly at the Stratford General Hospital on March 31, 2014. She was born in Geneva, New York, daughter of the late Earle and Greta Schonher. Barbara was a faithful member of Elgin Missionary Church, Stratford. Beloved wife for 48 years of Charles Crerar. Loving mother of Alex, Thomas (Melissa), Peter (Hyea Jin). Grandmother of Samuel, Josiah, Ocean, Joshua, Alexander Jr., Jonah, Bridgette and Shelby. Also survived by a sister Nancy Snay (Ronald), sister-in-law Georgia Schonher, sister-in-law and brother-in-law Joyce Barber (Bill) and several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents she was predeceased by her brother Richard. Friends and relatives may call at the W.G. Young Funeral Home, 430 Huron Street, Stratford on Thursday, April 3, from 7-9 p.m. and on Friday at Elgin Missionary Church, 4192 Perth line 36 from 1:00 p.m. until the time of the funeral service at 2:00 p.m. Interment in St. Andrew’s Cemetery, North Easthope at a later date.
