The Perth County OPP is investigating after a parent told them their child was spoken to by a stranger.
Police say two girls, aged nine and ten, were walking home from school Wednesday in Listowel.
A man in a dark coloured vehicle with the window rolled down stopped near the corner of Campbell Street West and Argyle Avenue North.
The man then asked the girls if they needed a lift.
They didn’t respond and kept walking.
The OPP says they don’t know at this point if the man was an acquaintance of the children who they may not have recognized.
