Evelyn Ella Huras, age 78, passed away peacefully at the Ritz Lutheran Villa, Mitchell on Wednesday April 2, 2014.
Born in Saskatchewan, daughter of the late Rudolph and Francine Flath. She was a member of St. Peter’s Lutheran Church. Evelyn enjoyed spending time with her family and they were the love of her life.
Beloved wife for 57 years to the late Donald Huras who predeceased her on September 16, 2013. Loving mother of Cindy Petrie (Rick), Tammy Billings (Barry). Grandmother of Jenny Petrie (Chris), Jackson Hyde-Billings, Brandon Hyde-Billings. Dear GG Ma of Cash Robert. Dear sister of Ruth Fusick, Joyce Flath (Cris), Rienhold Flath (Zeda). Also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by sister Clara Keyko (Roland) and brother-in-law Louis Fusick.
Friends and relatives may call at the W.G. Young Funeral Home, 430 Huron St., Stratford on Friday April 4th from 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held at the Funeral Home on Saturday April 5th at 11 a.m. Rev. Timothy Teuscher will officiate. Interment will follow in Avondale Cemetery.
