Haid, Inez Marie

Passed away peacefully on Friday, December 16, 2016 at  Chartwell Elmira Long Term Care Residence.  Inez formerly resided at R.R. # 4 Listowel and was born 91 years ago in Ellice Township.  She was the daughter of the late Joseph and Anne (Gale) Whaling.

Beloved wife of the late Norman Haid who predeceased her July 14, 1996.  Loving mother of Earl and Joan Haid of Maryhill, Gregory and Pamela Haid of Cambridge, Alan and Ellen Haid of R.R. # 4 Listowel, N. Frank and Tacey of Wasaga Beach, Philip and Joanne Haid of Keswick.  Sadly missed by her 12 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.

Inez is survived by her sister Frances Leyser of RR # 2 Stratford and sisters-in-law Margaret Haid of Listowel and Helen Hamilton of Strathroy.  She was predeceased by siblings Mary & Lyle Elliott, Grace & Leonard Laverty, Sister Inez and Sister Marcella, Catherine in infancy, Harry Whaling and brothers-in-law Earl Haid, Pat Haid, Cecil Haid, Art and Sarah Haid, Alan Hamilton, Henry Leyser

Inez was a member of St. Teresa of Avila Church, Elmira and the former St. Mary’s Roman Catholic Church, Hesson.

Family and friends will be received at the Mark Jutzi Funeral Home, 7 Spencer Street, Milverton on Wednesday December 21, 2016 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m..  The funeral Mass to celebrate Inez’s life will take place at St. Teresa of Avila Church, 19 Flamingo Drive, Elmira on Thursday December 22, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. with Father David Lewis officiating.  Spring interment in St. Mary’s Roman Catholic Cemetery, Hesson.  As expressions of sympathy donations may be made to Sisters of St. Joseph, London or University Hospital, London Epilepsy Research.
