BRENNEMAN, Merle C. – of Park Place Retirement Home, Woodstock, passed away on Wednesday February 1, 2017 at Sakura House. She was born on June 15, 1931 in Thamesford. Daughter of the late Hugh and Olive Malcolm. Beloved wife of the late Archie Brenneman (May 17, 2009). Dear mother of six children; Don (Hughena), Hugh (Sandra), Jim (Patricia), Patric, Nancy (Tim Rock) and Doug Todd. Grandmother of 17 and great grandmother of 24. Sister to Marion Carter, Anna Longworth, sister-in-law of Doreen Malcolm and Earl (Helen) Brenneman. Predeceased by her daughter Valerie Todd, brothers; Finlay, Russell (Luella) Malcolm, brothers-in-law; Archie Longworth, Fred Buchanan, Vernon Carter, Jerry Brenneman, Clayton Wagler, sisters-in-law; Dorothy Wagler and Freda Wagler. She will be remembered by her special friends Doug and  Diane Wiffen and family. Merle will be missed by her many nieces and nephews.  Friends are invited to join the family at the Brock and Visser Funeral Home, 845 Devonshire Ave., Woodstock, 519-539-0004 on Friday February 3, 2017 from 2:30 – 4:30 and 7-9pm, where the complete funeral service will be held in the chapel on Saturday at 11:00 am.
